I removed the white spacer, and added a tach this Sunday. The backfiring is gone, and blah blah blah.
Tonight I was driving to friends house and was going around 40 mph to 45 mph when the bike started sputtering and jerking (almost like when you are running out of gas) I switched to reserve and nothing happened. So I turned around and let the bike cool off for a while it seemed over heated. An dit would go for about a mile until it just cut off again. I did this for about 9 miles. I just kept letting it cool down then it would get me another mile and so on.
What do think is the problem.? The last 1/2mile I switched it to reserve and it got me all the way home.
i know I wasn't out of gas because i could see it in the tank.
Please help!!
